Well, I figured tonight would be as good as any to mess around the a Mag stick as I dont really use them much. Just let me say, sorry for the pictures, Im not sure why they didn't turn out good, mabye it was too dark or something.
But anyways, heres what I went out with.
Then the pile of shavings I had from saw the bar with the Rucksack's saw.
Then after one strike it went up in literly a FLASH
man I love that stuff.
Now, I just wanted to show and tell you all, how much I prefer the saw on the rucksack over the one in the OH Fireman model. Its shape seems to give it much better efficieny.
So, at the end, considering I carry a few of these in my kits, I thought it would be neat to give them a run in the back yard. I've used these a few times befor today, but never had an actually fire going except for tonight, this was the first method I tried and it didn't work so I ditched it and went to a plain ferro rod and lint of cotton balls, which has never failed me to this day. All in all, now that I know I can use them, I sure like'em.
P.S. Again, sorry for the crappy pics, I wont do it again I swear
