Here's an interesting early Cut.Co. It's a four "bladed" gent's knife, built on three springs with nickel silver handles. Both blades have the standard Schrade Cut. Co. tang stamps, but the scissor have the very scarce Germany tang. Now a number of Schrade knives were intially made in Germany until they could get their concern up and running, by some accounts for only the first year (1904), but it seems that the scissors were imported for a bit longer. How long I have no idea, but I believe roughly 1914 would have been the very latest due to the war. I've never seen this pattern in the catalogs, so I'd imagine it was dropped some time before 1926 (the complete lack of early catalogs is a real pain!).

Nice condition, Eric! Congrats on a great find!
Among the bunch of us, maybe we'll put together the whole story of Schrade!!
Eventually. Some day...

Show the scissor to member Germania. He may be able to pin down the actual manufacturer for you. He has done so for me on an early Kastor scissor knife.
