Since Busse Combat has stopped answering my questions, I was hoping you guys could help me out. I'm looking to get the blade redone in a satin finish since the competition finish has been discontinued. I was hoping there was a way to have the newly ordered knife to be sent straight there for the modification instead of having me receive it then send it back, is that possible? How long do the blade finish mods take? And how much would such a thing cost? Any answers are appreciated!

Call them up tomorrow and they will take care of you. They will do the satin finish in house then ship it to you. The cost will depend on what size blade you are talking about. The wait will depend on how busy the custom shop is right now.

I just called them up and as it turns out, they won't do a satin finish on a TG LB, so I guess I'll have to wait until the coating comes off itself, unless there's a way to strip it without voiding the warranty. Shame.
