I have recently re-entered the knife world since I quit boy scouts a decade ago and I am in the market for a fixed blade. I would like to spend 50 to 100 dollars on an edc fixed blade with a pocket clip. I would like a decent sized blade as well, nothing mini. Thank you for any suggestions.

fixed blade with a pocket clip.

That would be "non-traditional" and a topic for the General Forum. Moving there now so that you get the best answers to your question...

most of the sheath makers will make a sheath for anything with a few different kinds of clips.

also, can you put a number on "decent sized" either blade length or overall length? People here carry everything from 1" - 10"+ blades. I would assume you mean 3"-4" blade, 7"-8" overall

What do you need it to be able to do?

ESEE Izula comes with a clip plate that works as a pocket clip

That was the size I was looking for, it would be an EDC for me just to cut packaging, whittle, no extreme uses. I kind of like the look of the Benchmade griptilian and the Spyderco Delica 4 I was just wondering what you guys though the best looking/performing folding knife for around $100 would be?

Spyderco ParaMillitary 2 (PM2) no contest for me. The Manix 2 is really popular too and I like it but I like the PM2 clearly head and shoulders more than anything else under $400

Better than a griptilian?

My vote is the Paramilitary 2 for a folding knife for around $100
But you can get something like an Izula for around $40 if you want a fixed blade.
There are a lot of choices at your price range, maybe you should ask around about different steel types as well.

I would go with the ESEE 3 mil. Cost right about 100 bucks comes with a ton of different ways to carry it inculding a pocket/boot clip, best warranty in the business bar none, and will slice just as good as 90% of the folders out there while being worlds tougher than any folder.
