What is the best way to spread handle tube fasteners?

I would like to change my Busses to brass

I was reading here on BF of one gentlemen said he used some kind of bolt for this application.

No problem. I've used magnetic screwdriver bits and countersunk screws. I think Ban mentioned recently that he uses cut down drywall screws. All a means to an end. I'm actually redoing some handles very soon with brass. Just waiting on the new handle material to arrive.
