Real quick,

can anyone point me to where I can find the thread that showed the original offering of the Desert Satin Jack posted by Jerry?

I was told there were 14 made then others say only 7

I found the thread with the Desert ARK

DARK: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258639&highlight=desert+ARK

DSJ: ???

I know not much is known about these blades but if anyone can help its much appreciated.

Thanks ,
-Dave

Man, you and Knifehunter slay me. I know you're trying to figure out how many of the entire stock you have and how much you can charge. :D

Charge.?... NO NO ..

These goodies stay between us.. You will NEVER see a DSJ or DARK on the exchange or ebay from me...

I already have a good idea on the locations of 3 more DSJ's ..
ultra secret though ....:o

:eek: THREE MORE!!! C'mon man give me a name! ;) It will be our little secret.

I only know where 3 of them are... You know where 3 more are??!?!?!

Well, I know of ONE that USED to be a DSJ. Now it's just an SJ...albeit one with fine pedigree. I guess you never know what's hiding under a DSJ's skirt.

It is my understanding ALL of the Desert ARKs and Desert SJs have full satin finish under their skirts.

I'm really happy with my SFNO. No desire to switch her out, but I WOULD like an ABALE. :D

If you were to hold a DSJ I'm am sure you will change your mind.
At least I did. ever since then I have been on the evergoing hunt.

I'll PM my address and we can test that theory out. :D

Ever since GentleBen saw your pic of that SJ sitting on the EVO seat, he's been hungry for one. He's not really feelin' the prices, though. He's more of a gun guy.

Btw...that Jetta I offered for the EVO is gone now. Got this instead:

Gotta get a pic of my Satin/Tiger sabre SFNO sitting on the leather for ya.

NICE!!! Looks like your doing prettty , prettty good for yourself...

My friend has a 2007 G35 S type ..

Last week we were driving to a martini bar off Central and there was a lot of road construction. Streets were unpaved and the sewer covers were raised above the ground more than usual. Well the car drove over the manhole and caught the flange of the Cat-converter. Entrie exhaust system got ripped off from the cat back, and the impact shifted the tranny in to neutral from drive.

The car sounds like a beater 83 Subaru or something now. :(

Oh HELL NAW!!!

I woulda been vexed. I hear ya'll have serious issues with potholes and other road issues, though. Sucks.

Mine is an S as well. One night I talked my pops into riding out with me and not too far from his house there's a steep cure with a huge hump about 4.5' high. I took that curve at about 45 then hit the hump at about 60 or so. The car went airborne and hit pretty hard. My pops was like "Hohhhh isht". When we pulled over about 5-6 minutes down the road, there was no damage besides some scraping on the little deflector lip below the valence. Subwoofer was banged around, though. Good thing I paid good money for a JL10W6...that thing took a licking and still knocks.

Later he had me push it to about 135 on a straight down near the entrance to Overseas Hwy leading to Key Largo. I really enjoy this car. :D

If you could bring your car we'd hafta pit yours against my G35 and Ben's E55 AMG on Miami's hwys. THAT's fun! :D

Stupid...but fun. :D:D:D

EVO is more like going 120 on an exit ramp.

Key Largo!!!

I stay at the Westin off mile marker 97 Highway 1 last half of the trip.

That drive is a LOT of fun if there isn't much traffic.

My first car was an '87 Prelude SI. I LOVED that car. Drove it like I was never on time. Had 2 Bazooka 10's in that little trunk, too. I would probably still have it if some idiot woman hadn't tried to make a U-turn on US-1 near Coconut Grove at like 5:20pm. And I STILL got the ticket. I wanted to strangle someone that day.

I would love an Evo or maybe an older STI, but the insurance quote when I last checked was like a G/month. Talk about nuts!

LOL.

I think my non-turbo Prelude will give you guys a run for your money..
9000+ rpm redline after the rebuild, mmmmmmm

A lot of blood, sweat, tears, and $ went into this one.

If your wondering why the ruck is there? b/c I had to pry something out from the undercarage through the engine bay.. Ruck did the job fine..

Probably take my stock G pretty handily, but that E55 is a beast! 495bhp with over 400lb/ft of torque. That car is an animal...and all class.

HAHAHA

We're city-boy's, Jeep. We hafta get past little viejitas in tercels all day long. If I DID live in a rural area, though, I'd have something like yours, or maybe an old Scout or so...

Truthfully, though...I'm a teacher. I wish I had the money some of you people have to play around with, but not on my income. I gotta find a way to get rich so I can be like TonyG. :D

Eventually I'll buy an old Jeep and rebuild it for extreme off roading.

I'm just a sucker for speed right now.

Did you do the V8 swap yet? Grand Cherokee engines will fit your bay like a glove..

Too much additional stuff would have to get done. New Transmission... Axles couldn't handle the power either, so I would have to replace them too. With the 4.0L I6 and 36" Bias Ply muds, I am pushing my luck with the current axles even with the chromoly shafts and trusses... :thumbdn:
