Hi Folks, I just got these two knives finished up for BLADE. This first one is the biggest integral I'm bringing. The blade is 11-7/8" long, 2-3/8" wide, 3/8" thick. It is a 12 bar Merovingian twist. There are 1664 individual pieces to this knife, all forge welded together. The handle is premium Circasian walnut with a flutted butt.

This little one is "orc nouveau" pattern twist. 3-1/2" blade, keyhole style hunter. The hadle is damascus and African Blackwood.

aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!

Wow Adam they are very nice I cant wait to get a close look at them see you soon

Great looking pieces Adam.

Something I've wondered on that second style, is there a normal tang? I can't see a need for one but had kind of wondered.

Thank you all for the kind encouragement! Sometimes after a frustrating day up here in the Alaskan-bush blade shop you need to check in with the other "knife nuts" to see if you are still on track. It's like going home to family when I turn off the generator, close the shop doors and check the forums.

Beau, there is no regular tang, you could think of it like two horizantal tangs squeezing the handle wood.

Adam-

I figured that was the case, just had me wondering if i was right.
More or less dovetailed together, just with a decorative shape rather than a normal dovetail.

Ya'lls work is just stunning, I can't seem to get enough of it. I'm really liking the dovetailed handles

Outstanding work Adam. Looking forward to seeing you and those fantastic knives next week.

Really nice work, Adam. While the damascus is great, the handle work is what stands out to me. The carved butt on the bowie is a classy touch, and I like the fitting of the wood and damascus on the smaller knife.
