Hi, I'm pretty unfamiliar with Jerry and his knives so I figured the best place to find an answer would be here. I was searching for a fixed blade with a handle size around 4-5 inches and a blade around 4.5 inches. Any recommendations appreciated.
Also would someone mind giving me the dimensions of a Warden or AD. :) Thanks for any help, Houston.

Of course.

Naturally, you should check out the Bad Mojo site ... and there is another Busse Fanatic site (I'll look up the link for you). Never mind -- I see Ronnie has listed the best places for you, already.

You should also hit the Busse Company Store, since a fair number of nearly-discontinued Busses can be either seen or bought there. Skunk's place is ... excellent.

Basic Warden: 3" blade, handle just under 4". Thickness varies from about 0.14" to the ridiculous (over 0.3").

Basic AD: 3.5" blade, handle around 4.5". Note that the handle design is NOT the same as the Warden. Thickness also varies here -- the BAD (Boney AD) are quite thin (around 0.12", as I recall) while the regular ADs are around 0.2" at the spine.

You might want to look into one of the members of the Mean(er) family to find the size you're probably looking for. The Leaner Meaners have a handle nearly 5" long with a 4.25" blade.

You might also look up the Cultellus -- a skinnier thin blade.

Hope this helps.
