Say WHAT? Looks to me like you have been playing on the lathe. I'm not sure where the other reference originated?

Oh, lathe... I thought he said laid. LOL

Yeah, I turned the handle on my new mini lathe, and that little ektara tuning peg off to the right. That's a natural gourd for the ektara body that the knife is setting on. The gourd's not turned. I'm making a one string spike fiddle, just for fun.

Nice, I made a film about single stringed guitars and their involvement in blues music. A fiddle sounds like a fun project, cool idea.

I like the knife, the copper really sets it off.

Cool photo, I noticed a few interesting things you did there... :cool:
