Hi folks it has been a while since I have posted I had to catch up on my blacksmithing work. So I now have 3 things I would like to show you.
First an old knife with a new beautiful sheath from my friend John Cohea.
Next is a hunter I made for a friend to give as a gift to his new father in-law.
Third is this dagger. This dagger is the second one I have ever made, it has a forge welded wrought iron
frame with buffalo scales and wrought iron balls as the guard I am going to make the blade a bit bigger on the next one. I think of these daggers as teachers and this one thought me a lot.

thank you, now I will have to change my shorts.

Amazing damascus as always, beautiful work David!

Really nice across the board David - I'm particularly taken with the dagger.

Love 'em all but the hunter is my favorite!

I need to show threads like this to my son-in-law...
all I got was a hefty wedding tab and a hell of a buzz!

Dave, you seem to be knocking them out of the park with every swing these days.
All very nice. I like polished Buff horn, especially when it has good figure.

This and that, man Dave they all look pretty darn good to me. Always nice to see your work.

Jon

Thank you all just wanted you to know I am still here making when I can and loving every minute of it
