Here is one by Fred Ott out of Colorado. Hidden tang, forged W2 blade, ironwood handle, about 7 1/2 inches overall. I like the way the guard extends just a smidgen on the top. Ott is not mentioned a lot here on BFC but if this one is any example, I have to say he certainly makes a fine knife.

Very nice, looks like a great little slicer... and I love the single mosaic.
 
I have seen quite a few of Fred Ott's knives, and have liked most of them. This one looks to be well made. The lines are nice as well.
 
I've admired his work for some time. I really like this clean little knife.
