Been having some triple digit temps here for the last few days so lighting up the forge is out of the question. This was a blade that was in the "you ought to turn it into a knife pile" for several months. Its got a 3 1/2" W-2 blade, iron fittings and a elk stag handle. 7 1/4" overall.

I like it, Ray, even with the giraffe bone "elk" handle. Triple digits temps are a good thing if they break the stranglehold humongous bowies has on you to limit more knives like this one.

man, i really like all that belly in the blade...

That one needs to be put to work in a few more weeks when bow season opens!

Eli, Here's another one that would work well for bow season. Same size as the other one. This blade is from the drag saw steel, osic handle and iron fittings.

These two knives seem to be very practical and comfortable
to use outdoors. What kind of a sheath do you plan for them?

All the best,

Those are both great looking little knives. I really like your iron fittings and the choice of handle material seems just right for these.:thumbup:
