I'm sure that all(most) of you are at least familiar with the Case Sway Back Jack. It and the Sowbelly amongst others are, from what I understand, Tony Bose designs. I really like how the blade tangs are sunken into the handles when the blades are in the closed position. My question to you is this about GEC primarily but Iwould also like to know about others who fit the bill. I am really only talking about production knives. Not really on the market for customs.

Are there any GEC knives with sunken joints? Or maybe CS, Queen, S&M...

The GEC Pony Jack spines don't protrude too much. And it's a great pattern. And as Dangerously posted, the Vic's are pretty much smooth, they fit so well. Outstanding f & f.

This #66 Mink comes very close from GEC.

These 3-5/8" slim stockmen have nearly sunk joints, and ride almost invisibly in the pocket.

Although not technically counted as sunk joints, any factory knife with a copperhead bolster will have no visible run-up when closed.
These include copperhead, canoe, and some folding hunter patterns.

The Case Humpback Half Whittler has sunk joints also.

Yes, a number of CASE knives have sunk-joints, the Humpback Stockman (nice cut-out on that one) their Pen Knife and the expensive Collaboration Norfolk. Probably others too.

The RR Peanut manages it .

I'd like to see them on some GEC knives as it really does make a knife more pocket friendly and endows it with quality. But so far they haven't really done this, the 57 Half Whitt does come very close though, but you have to be a Wharncliffe fan to enjoy it.
