Just saw this image that my friend Win Heger posted a few days ago, missed it but man wanted to share as I've not seen Sawby's with stag scales and these look great!
Win I love that little wharncliff one a lot ;)

ps, notice how the point is lower, nice

I don't think that top one is really a wharncliffe, Gary. The edge seems to curve up to the tip instead of being straight. I know, picky picky. :p

They are all nice, but that big clip point is my favorite.

No worries, wharncliffish is more accurate I suppose, more in line with a very good everyday carry working style knife, still a bit out of my wallet's range though :( but so very nice!

ps, that big one is Win's favourite as well, I hear that he also makes a Extra large in that style, an over 5" blade I think?

G2,
Thanks for posting these here. I think that Scott Sawby makes as elegant and nice a knife as anyone. I especially like his "Sawby Lock" an ambidexterous lock. Here's the specs on these:

Tananger: 2 3/8" Blade, satin finished. Polished bolsters. Wharncliffish
Combat/Utility: Small version, 2 3/8" polished blade and bolsters
Toothpick: Small version 3 1/4" Blade, satin finished blade and bolsters.

Keith, I love Scott's "Toothpick". this knife is just plain sexy! The larger version has 3 3/4" blade and there is an extra large 5" one. The 5" is made only for a certain dealer.

All the Stag matches real well on these and there are no clips. Great little
gents knives. If I ever mange to hold onto these and save enough money, they'd be off to Julie Warenski.

I also like Scott's new logo, very classy.

Win

Those are nice. I really like that Toothpick.
I carry a stag Arkansas Toothpick that's kind of similar to the looks of Sawby's, except that it's a production model from AG Russell.

I sure like the Sawby for sure.

They are nice for sure! AG Russell always has nice things as well, but those Sawby's are outta sight!

But I've a camera inbound, once it arrives I'll be a picture takin' fool for sure ;)

Call it whatever you want; it flat out looks good. To be honest, it looks kinda like a blade that W.D. Pease would have on one of his knives. And that's a good thing. :)

Thanks for resurrecting this Gary. Here is one that is not catalogued. This was an exclusive design for the Barrett-Smythe Gallery that went under a few years ago. Scott made this one for me, the inlay is a beautiful piece of Petersite.

Keith, a Wharncliffe for sure.

Win
