Actually it's not a secret but I want to put out a heads up to keep your penny banks handy and keep feeding them.

Yangdu advises she has numerous Thamar knives on hand and intends to put them up between now and the Christmas season.

In my mind Thamar is one of the best of the best. His traditional style and attention to detail boggles the mind.

Can't get enough of his work along with several of the other top notch kami's of course as well.

So work on your nest egg and keep a spot on the wall open, Thamar is coming soon.

Yangu advises she has a pretty good supply of the above mentioned Thamars, so today was just a taste I guess.

Keep your eyes peeled. That must hurt, peeling your eyes, never thought about that before.
Ouch.

No sir, she didn't get that specific. Only that she has a substantial inventory of his blades.
Certainly no harm in asking. I did ask but didn't get a response yet.
You looking for something specific?

Yes,sir, of course I am. yet another khuk that is definitely more gooder than yours!

Well that's certainly an honorable goal. You've come close a time or two.

Will the Bestest Curved Spine come on out and stand up? I would love to see one/both!

Well here's the goodest one known to man at this time. And a shot of the goodest Curved Spine along with the Goodest Trisuli Ghaule. Toss up to which is my favorite.

I never took a photo of my Hanshee but I own the knife on the right. I think it has a curved spine guys. Your thoughts?

I will post Tamar Knife sales thread after Tihar, stay tuned
Thank you, Bawanna

Looks like a Hanshee to me George. The Curved Spine is a bit beefier in the blade.
That's a nice one.

Hey Bawanna, that was quick, thanks for sharing. That's a serious curve. How does it compare in the field, I ask since I just picked up my first Thamar (which was pretty curvy to me?) and wanted to get your thoughts on how such a design impacts chopping performance.
Edit: Simply lovin that shape! Like a Foxy Folly?

While I've swung it a bunch and fondled it a lot, I haven't done enough actual work with it to be a fair judge. It's definitely a learning curve whenever you use one of the boomerangs. The curved spine, the hanshee etc. The sweet spot hits the target much earlier than other khukris.
Like a Tamang being near straight, that would feel different.

It doesn't take long to get a feel for each but one has to go kind of easy till you get there.

CS0a.jpg CS3a.jpg CS6.JPG Well, Bawanna. ...you best choose your Trisuli Ghaule because the bestest curved spine is right here. You know it. I know it. Better get a box of hankies and console yourself. I don't let anyone visiting the house touch my Sunday Go To Meeting khuk. No, sir! This thing just radiates its own light like one of them Aurora Borealises. Glows inna dark, it does. It even purrs like a kitten when I take it outta the rack. It's alive and oughta be one of them super weapons for wunna them super heroes, you know.

Thanks for sharing Bookie! That is superb, what lovely lines...

Now that I see both Bestest Curved Spines...how to choose? There can be just the one, by definition. I'm thinking this has all the makings of a never-ending story. Then again, not that anyone asked, I'm tempted to rank both BCSs on individual parameters, sum up...and the winner is...

Amko, you're correcto-mundo. Bawanna and me have been fussing over this for about 4 years now. Don't suppose it'll ever end, not in this life time, anyway. Actually, if he didn't argue with me once in a while, I'd think he was mad at me!
