Finally got some free time, and Uller was gracious enough to dump 4"-6" in the mountains last night. So here's a few pics.

The 2 warming up by the fire, although it is spring and it wasn't really that cold.

And I'm not telling you guys anything you don't already know, but batoned through this wood with ease:

There were some other people in this warming hut and they watched me make a pile of kindling in no time flat with the mighty 2 (I always leave some up there so the next person to start the fire has some) and they were impressed with the 2, so I turned some folks onto Becker.

After that batoning still able to make some wiener-skewers with ease! :eek:

I miss snow. I aint been on skis since 2005. Wasn't pretty then and prolly be even Less pretty now!

Nice pics...the ''wildlife'' one made me chuckle. Thanks for sharing ur lovely snow-day
 
Awesome pics man. My sister lives in Golden and we make it to the mountains everytime we visit. God's country for sure. Love it out there.

My friends the Pylers live in Golden.
Used to go skiing there every winter.
