A little something for the desk perhaps...

Here is another little "box cutter" of sorts for the desk.

The Damasteel blade is 4" (100mm) over all and 8mm thick and the braid has a small Mammoth ivory bead.
The African Blackwood stand is 5"(125mm) long with a brass rod holding a little magnet.

It turned out to be a rather difficult grind to do, but it resulted in a very slim and sharp point that I think will cut really well.

Oh, I was going to make a little neck sheath for it, what do you all think about that?

Kind Regards
/Magnus

Wonderful lines and beautiful etch on that damascus! And I like the mammoth bead as well...

Another great 'display' piece and I'm very sure it'd make quite a 'box cutter'.

very sweet little piece of kit you've put together, my brother from another mother :)

as for the neck sheath, I think a dress shirt pocket sheath would be awesome. Maybe something that incorporates a nice pen. Kind of a pocket protector for the executive...

Magnus,
The photo of the knife in hand puts the size into the right prospective.
It looks like the The ULTIMATE Letter Opener and A GREAT CONTEMPORARY WORK OF ART.
I think the knife would see a lot of action and APPRECIATION on the desk.
VERY NICE INDEED.
( Now to find a desk that is worthy ).

Magnus,
After a second staring session.
I am AMAZED at how many Complimentary Curves You have in one Work.
Nice Stand, Lanyard and Bead also.
