A relative wanted to trade a set of antlers for a fillate(spelling?) knife and I didn't have the heart to tell her the antlers wernt worth anything. Well, maybe I can use them for file handles!:D

Band saw steel, black paper mycarta handles with loveless bolts and brass thong hole.

Won't be to many of these made, 1/16" stock is a pain(literaly!) to grind. At least I know this will be realy used and not set up in a case for display.

nice looking piece Will ! it definitly looks to be a great fillet knife... im sure she will appreciate it:)

It is a beautiful knife. I feel your pain (always wanted to say that). A friend of mine wanted a fillet knife last summer. I must have gone through 50 feet of bandsaw blades before I finished one I thought was acceptable. What a pain to grind the flimsey stuff.

Will That is Beautiful..
I know what you mean. Most people think that a single small rack of antlers is worth allot of money and that we should be glad to get them.I have even had people want to trade for a block of Black Walnut that they wanted or there handle and trade the rest for the knife..I hate having to explain when something isn't worth what they think it is.

Awesome Knife.
