Looks great! Looks like a great combo for cast iron cooking. Hard to believe that's your first go at it.
 
nice job on the spoon.. it came out great...:thumbup: i dig that ML too... that thing is bad a$$....:eek: i have another knife on order from Matt, don't expect it for a few more months though..:(
 
What model curved knife you using? That knife rocks.

loving that blade

have done some woodworking
re-handled quite a few blades etc
all it takes is a knife(a curve knife seems necessary to get that bowl shape-at least for me)
some sandpaper
and a bit o time on yr hands
