A Little Trapline Action this Evening...

Last weekend I ate at a restaurant that served a fantastic Philly Steak sammich. Tonight I did my best to match it and failed miserably.:D

Started with these.

The Trapline helped me turn them into this.

Seared these on the grill and cut them up.
Unfortunately I didn't get a photo after grilling

Picked a nice loaf of french bread and thought I would butta it up and toast it a little on the grill.

Turns out that was a terrible idea. :D
The bread stuck/burned to the grill and fell apart when I tried to take it off.

Open faced on (properly) toasted wheat it is!:p

Turned out pretty good, but it was a far cry from what I had last weekend.
Think I'll mix the leftovers with brown gravy and put over rice.
