The handle on my SS LE was just to light, I tried scrubbing it with soap and a tooth brush, works with the linens. Finally got out some mineral oil slopped in on good and them cleaned it up, look's lot more Tiger hidish.

I know, I could have just used the p out of it ;)

Very nice! Mineral oil sure does make that micarta look better.

Questions for ya...
Does the handle feel different with the oil?
Can the mineral oil be removed later if you decide you want to go back to the original look?

Looks great btw!

It'll clean right back up with dish soap and water. As far as feel, it's smoother, it's not greasy if you soak up the excess, doesn't really affect it.

It just accelerates the natural process of soaking up oils during use. It just won't spend enough time in the rotation for that to happen.

Ah yes... Amazing what a li'l mineral oil can do...!

I think every handle I have seen with mineral oil has looked so much better after its applied.

I tried olive oil once but it didn't work.

Just don't tell Popeye.

Think that 10-30 mobile one would work?
