This is one you don't see everyday, a contract knife made by Schrade for the Warren Tool Co., which still has a large presence in the carving tool business. There were about 1000 2-knife sets made, and the other knife in the set, the Schrade Warren 2 (which I'm still looking for), supposedly has a pen blade. This one blooded me too while cleaning the blade.

Thought I would bring this thread up to the top again, as I think the original poster has something to tell us about. Way cool pair of knives, out of the ordinary Schrades. My resources tell me the issue date was 1982, and that 1500 sets were made for Warren. Being a working tool, can't be too many of these around in great shape. I can't see that a knife collector back in the early eighties would have purchased them to keep in a collection.

Makes these a very interesting set, to a couple of us anyway. Good going!
