Well Folks it seems that recovering from Blade Show this year is proving to be a bit more difficult than in the past. I made it home early Monday morning and spent the next few days in bed with a terrible cough and cold. Figures I go to Atlanta and come back with a cold.

Anyway I had hoped to do this earlier but here goes:

Jerry,
Thanks for having the faith in me to handle the largest show of the year. I hope I did it right.

Lexi, Lora, and Pokey,
Thanks for being all smiles all weekend. You carried yourselves like true professionals of the highest quality.

Josh, Beef, and Mack,
You guys were great. I never had to ask for anything. I could not have asked for a better support staff. Top notch all the way around.

Drew and Monte,
Again gentlemen, Thank you for all the help. You guys seemed to be everywhere at once and the extra hands were much appreciated.

Trough Control (security detail),
Thanks for always watching my back. I know that I never have to worry with you guys around.

And finally to all the Hogs and Hogettes
What an amazing group of people. It amazes me to watch you guys at the trough behave like animals one moment and then give away the knife you just fought for because someone else wants it. I can't tell you how many acts of true kindness I witnessed this past weekend and it really leaves me humbled to be a small part of such a great group of people. Also, Thanks to everyone who listened to me ramble on at the Induction Dinner. If you didn't notice I was a bit nervous. Being the guy center stage is not really my thing, Jerry has some huge shoes to fill.

It was a very long hard road to get to Blade Show, but as much work as it was, I am already looking forward to next year. So, to all my old friends and to all my new friends, Thank You for making it a wonderful show. I am looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.

Garth

READY FOR NEXT YEAR SIR!!!!!!!

Lets do this :D :D

Thanks again buddy!

Wade

You did a great job. You were a natural. Don't underestimate or question yourself  unless you're being humble. In which case, rock on, and hope you're feeling better!

Garth, you "did it right ", in spades my friend. Was an honor to be inducted by you and you didn't look nervous at all. A professional all the way and thank you for a great first year for me.

You did great and hope you feel better quickly. Was great seeing you again thought we didn't get to chat as much as I would have liked

Sucks that you had to leave early Sunday, hope you get well soon. Damn Atlanta and its cold weather :grumpy:

Can't wait for KC to roll around, machine guns, INFI, and beer

Thank you for all you did and do my friend.

Oh and thank whomever for this cold cough I brought back as well :)

Lycosa said it all!..;) The lovely ladies deserve extra credit; they conducted business in a happy and smiling manner, even though several folks--like ME:o), kept interrupting them with questions or asking them to take a picture! You are truely a group of AWESOME folks!:thumbup:

Jerry, I'm am sure that you are rightfully proud of this group who absolutely exemplify the "Busse Spirit"!;)

Garth, You were OUTSTANDING! and as far as trough control, your welcome, its what we do. It all worked because there is one thing that solidifies the adhesive bond between the the Busse crew, Hogs, Rats, and Dogs alike. Its comaraderie......with it, your family. Doug Wheatley-Sniper Hog

You did a stellar job Garth, as did everyone at BC. I had the time of my life thanks to yourself and everyone else.

Thanks a bunch!

Lawrie.

Thank you for the kind words, Garth! You did an amazing job, not just with induction! You were great the whole weekend!

It was a blast and you did a heck of a job. Not sure induction could have been any better:thumbup::)

Hope you feel better brother:cool:

Garth,
You did a wonderful job the entire weekend. Jerry did well delegating authority this year.
Raise you up on a podem, hand you a knife and the rest is cake. We do need to work on the tosses a bit though. :D
You nailed it with others in the trough passing around the love, had this not happened I would have gone home with orders only.
Sorry to hear the bug got you, think Josh felt it a bit too. You guys and gals worked your tails off and I appreciate it.
While I could detect a little nervous undertone in your voice! the room was full of great and supportive people, so you powered thru it with ease. Glad I could add a little comic relief and a few laughs with my induction name. I'll be rockin' "Need2Pork" for life!
Thank you and everyone else for a great Blade gathering this year.

I thought you were just doing your job Garth and doing it well. Since I had never been to Blade before, I figured that was the norm and maybe Jerry popped in here and there or something. I would have never have guessed this was your first time handling the whole show. I think you discovered a new talent :)

Garth you did a great job. Being in front of people can be a bit nerve racking. Plus nobody lost any body parts so that is a big plus. LOL The whole crew did an amazing job. I am proud to be part of the family.

Sounds like you killed it out there in Atlanta, Garth...great job! I have no doubts that if anyone can fill Jerry's shoes, it's you man

Can't wait to meet you all at Blade (or perhaps KC?) next year :)

Speedy recovery to you Garth! I hope you feel better soon.................

Garth & crew, thanks for treating me, but most importantly my woman like royalty(I may get to go again :)). You guys are like no other.
