A lot of letters, a couple questions, and a silly observation

Good evening, fellow Busse friends!
So, I had a powerful thirst last night, and like any right-minded individual, I decided a few libations were just the thing to cure what ailed me. As the evening was winding down, I decided the few Busse knives I owned were due for a little love.

So, I went and grabbed my NMFBM, Garth edition NMSFNO, B.I.G. NMFSH from the latest Ganzaaa, and finally, the B.I.G. ASH. As I was looking them over, I got to thinkin' about all these letters and wondered a couple things.

Obviously, Nuclear Meltdown refers to rounded spine/choil/pommel but I was slightly befuddled by the others.

Firstly, does Fusion imply a curvature in the handle? BM and B.I.G. SH have it, the NO does not.

Second, when SH is used, is that describing the overall general shape of the blade?

Silly observation: If NMFBM and B.I.G. ASH were to have offspring, it would look similar to the B.I.G. NMFSH.

That's all I got. Thanks, everyone, have a good weekend.

I was under the impression fusion was a "fusion" of the original SH (straight handle) and the ergo. That's funny about the two having a baby! That prob what it would look like it it were possible lol! Sweet Ash by the way

Fusion refers to the handle shape. The "SF" in NMSFNO means the knife has the Special Forces handle shape shared with the Hell Razor, Regular SFNO, and a few other knives I can't recall at the moment.

SH stands for Steel Heart. That refers to the model of the knife. Just like a Civic is made by Honda, a Steel Heart is made by Busse.

Silly observation: If NMFBM and B.I.G. ASH were to have offspring, it would look similar to the B.I.G. NMFSH.

I agree 100%!

I hope that answers your questions ^^

Thanks DD It for the reference page.

Thanks also, safetyman. I was aware of what the letters in the models stood for but unclear on what each designation meant. I'm a fan of brevity when I can get away with it.:D

No problem. I suck at being concise and to-the-point so I hope it helped!

That's correct.

trevitrace,
Not including the swords and Basic 11, the Battle Mistress has been the longest Busse followed by the Steel Heart, so in other words the SH has been the 2nd longest blade length in the regular production lineup since the SHSHII (SHSHII & SHBM, SH-E & BM-E, FSH & FBM).
