A lot of work to get to this stage

When I have the handle glued up I’m always a little excited anticipating dialing in the feel of the handle.

Ugly at this stage but you can see the soul being borne.

That’s a Puukko inspired utility design. 4” blade. So simple but it feels super good in the hand. I just sent one out yesterday to go to Washington State. I love the blade shape because it’s very user friendly and will do a lot of work.
 
Man, it sure is good to see blgoode posting again.
Ha ha!! I’ll have to get some knives from my phone images and post them up. Takes me a while to work up to completed projects but here is a paring knife I ground tonight.
