Scott thought he'd have time to work on knives when we got home from San Antonio, but Spring came early in NC and his tree clients forced him from the forge sooner than expected. Now with a bunch of fertilization, pest control, and pruning behind him, Scott is hoping to catch up on commissions and begin preparing for Blade.

This week Scott completed two knives - a commissioned Mamba and a Peregrine he simply could not get out of his head. The Mamba is headed to Hawaii as soon as the sheath is finished, while the Peregrine may fly south to Atlanta in June. Let us know what you think.

Thanks for looking. We'll be at Blade Show Table 21-R and hope to see you there.

the knives just keep getting better! They are both verrry sweet.

Agreed on both statements!
I'm sure the new owner of the Mamba will be very happy as well as the future purchaser of the Peregrine!
Both are great looking knives.

Congrats on being in print, Scott.
Saw a very familiar looking "Zulu" pictured in the latest Blade Magazine.
It does have a very nice piece of ironwood, pictured appropriately enough in an article about handle materials.

(Good) Publicity never hurts!!!

Mike and Lorien, thanks for the kind words.

Michael, I saw that picture too. It was a great surprise.

NICE knives they are. I especially like the "Mamba" also, although I was expecting a different shaped blade.

The name Mamba brings to mind the Blackjack Mamba, which had a very different shape. Not that it really matters:D

man, I keep coming back here to check out that peregrine design, it's all that and a bag of chips!

Both terrific pieces, but now I can't get that Peregrine out of my head, either. Thanks a lot. :grumpy: ;) I've been wanting a dedicated wingshooting knife, and planned to make one as my next project. But damn, that's perfect!
