Hi Folks...
Well to those of us here in Traditional, nothing more these days turns our heads quicker than the mention of a TC Barlow! And Rightly so!!!

Cory contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if he could send me a knife - now I am pretty sure like the rest of you - that is actually a VERY hard question to answer - so I got back to Cory...I do admit after he contacted me a second time - because I didnt know how to answer his amazingly generous offer - and said absolutely - but only if I could gift one in return....... well Cory came out and told me he had this to gift.......

WOW...I mean WOWEE -what a stunner - Cory kind Sir - thank you so so much for this absolutely fabulous knife, in fact after you contacted me, I saw a Rust Red Saw Cut One arm Razor for sale and couldnt believe it and snatched it up - just so it would go so well with your fantastic Stews Blade, I have only one One Arm Razor - a very nice Rendezvous special - and now because of Cory I will have a beautiful trio once the other arrives at some stage. Mr Hilborn is looking after that one right now for me until after the Christmas rush of Post.

Cory, THANK YOU for your extremely kind thoughts, your lovely knife will remain here in New Zealand until such time I am no longer here to be caretaker of this wonderful piece, I have a lovely knife here for you mate, I hope it fills what must be a huge gap.

Duncan my friend, what a BEAUTIFUL KNIFE!!! There is no one more deserving then you:D You are a LEGEND, your always kind remarks, insight, positive encouragement is all documented in this forum;)

Now Corey, a Wow shout out to you as well:thumbup: A very kind and generous act my friend, what a terrific gift:)

Duncan, back to you...a very heartfelt and gracious thank you to Corey:thumbup:

Thank you both for enhancing a great forum, so appropriate for the giving season, the number one gift in these parts are the true friendships that come about:thumbup:

Never tire of threads such as these:cool:

Wow! That's fantastic! This place is filled with amazing people. It's an honor to hang out here.

Wow! Cory, what an amazing gift. That's why this is my favorite part of the knife world.

Duncan, you are most deserving so it stands to reason that this happened for you. You bring so much to this forum that makes this place what it is.

Well done gents.

Chris

Very, very nice of you, Cory, and congrats to you, Duncan! Once again, this proves to just be an incredible place.

I had to sell off my Stew's blades a while back and I do miss them. They're definitely causing a big gaping hole in my TC collection rebuilding process. I shall have to remedy this! :D

Cory knocked it out of the park with that one,huh Duncan?! I can just hear your heart palpitating when that lovely came into view:D It could not have gone to a finer gent and valued and honored brother.

Cory....perfection!

Wow! This place is filled with such amazingly generous and thoughtful people. I am so happy I have found such a place to hang out. Holiday Wishes to all!

Well done Cory!

Duncan, I believe Paul summed it up.

I am grateful both of you congregate here with us on this wonderful porch.

Congrats, Duncan; beautiful knife!! Thanks for sharing the story. I've had several "interactions" with Cory, and he's an incredibly thoughtful and generous guy.

Thank you for the kind thread Duncan, and thanks to all of you for your kind words. If ever there was a person that needed to be gifted a TC barlow, it was Duncan.
