A few days ago he sent me a PM regarding a sawcut yellow 305 that I have been needing for my collection.
He said he acquired it in a deal and would like to send it to me which I graciously accepted.

I just received the package today and am blown away, I really don't know what to say here.

I expected the knife to be in a gently used / carried condition which it is and definitely more carried than used, but I also got the original box the paperwork and even the original sales receipt with it.
A 1989 example that sat for 5 years before being purchased.

I may not have mentioned this before but I keep all the boxes and get as exited about all this stuff as I do the knives.
I am not only happy to own these 2 knives that I didn't have but the 2 boxes I didn't have either.
I really really appreciate the generosity.

There’s some really good people here on this forum, not only generous but very thoughtful. I’m sure it made your day and they will be a great addition to your collection. Enjoy!

Absolutely, and I feel like it's just part of becoming a member of the Buck family when you buy their knives.
I'm sure lots of Case knives are gifted every year, but there's just something about Buck knives that make them an ideal always appreciated gift.

I am definitely thrilled to have the yellow one, I quite like the yellow and am absolutely happy that I didn't have to pay stag prices for it.
The 305 clipper excited me because I've been interested, but was never quite willing to pull the trigger since I worried that the scissors might suck.
