I had the pleasure to check out a true work of art today.

I went to my friend Alex, who handed me something wrapped in a cloth.

As I unwrapped it, I almost forgot to breath.

Oh my god.... This bowie is nice....

I can't start to describe it. I'll let the pics tell their own story:

Specs dude!

NEED specs!

What's the handle material? How long is the blade? How thick? Is the damascus stainless or Carbon? How does it balance? Does it feel like an extension of your hand? :p

Beautiful looking package. That sure looks like some fine leather work.
Congrats!

Blade is made by Alex Salsi, Belgian knifemaker.

1/5 inch thick Damasteel (I'll ask about total length)

German Silver guard, swamp oak, bronze, birchwood, handles.

Hand made leather sheat, hand carved leaves.

And this handles like a dream. To bad it isn't mine.

TRABAJO FANTÁSTICO

Felicitaciones .

Truly a beautiful bowie. From the figure in the handle to the damascus pattern, it is really eye-catching. And the sheath looks as good as the knife!
