A Modified Cold Steel Desperado

I took one of my old work horses- a cold steel desperado- and modified yesterday. I put a plain edge near the tip and near the base. I kept the serrations on the mid portion for ripping in. I haven't been hunting today but the tip looks like it will be useful for skinning. The base is already very friendly for whittling.

Nice mods.

My main folder is the El Vaquero with 5" blade. That blade shape is hard to beat for agressive cutting.

Thanks! I used a small file to dull the serrations then used my worksharp. 25 degrees one side, 20 on the other.
