So I recently returned from work out of state, and while I was gone I left most of my knife collection at home including my Large Sebenza 21 (never doing that again). When I returned, I sharpened my Sebenza on my new Wicked Edge to a screaming level of sharpness, and that's when it hit me. I had fallen back in love with this knife. While at work I was carrying a ZT and a Strider , but since I returned the only 2 knives I've truly enjoyed fondling and EDC'ing have been my large Sebby, and my tanto Socom Delta. But I just have a new found love for my Sebenza. With its ultra thin high hollow grind, the gorgeous stone wash blade, simple bead blasted Ti scales, and fantastic blade shape. I just love it, and I wanted to share.

So what do you guys think, have you ever fallen back in love with a knife you've had for quite a while? And how about some appreciation for the simple yet elegant design of the Sebenza (any model).

Good for you, oxo. the sebenza is a great knife. i like its simplicity and high reliability, it's perfact for me. i hope i could got a chance to have a MM sebbie some day, but raise money first.

I own plenty of different knives, one of which is a Strider SnG, and no knife compares to my Sebenzas. None. The SnG is close in some senses, but overall, even it falls short of the love I have for my Sebenzas. It takes me a good session on the stones to re-appreciate mine sometimes as well. Cool post!

Since owning CRK's, I have never been without one. Most every day, I carry a CRK and a Strider. My other knives have fallen out of EDC rotation and I've even started moving them. It sends chills down my spine just thinking about not carrying a CRK.

I'm keeping my Sebenzas no matter what. The rest of my folders are probably going bye bye, except for My Paramilitary and my Zt 560. Well I've been looking at William Henrys, And they look rather classy. That's what I'm looking for nowadays, instead of tactical knives I'll never use for their intended purpose.

I remember shortly after I'd gotten my first 2 Sebenzas I went out of state for work for a couple weeks. I carried a couple cheaper folders with me, but I remember getting home and standing at the safe just fondling my Sebenzas because I'd missed them and appreciating their smoothness and elegant simplicity. Sick, I know. ;)
