Rest in Peace B.B.

This is a sad loss but the world is richer for having had him while we did. His music will live forever and continue to inspire generations.

I was lucky enough to see him in person a few times. Always a great show.

A huge loss... There are not many left like him.

Well, Damn. The world has lost a gentle giant. Saw him at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado during a day long blues festival back in the early 90s. ("Blues on the Rocks") Great fun. Buddy Guy and a bunch of others I don't recall off hand. No more new music from him but as long as we have all that he left us, he's not really gone.

RIP BB.....Another off to the Giant Concert Hall....Rock and Roll/Blues Heaven...He will be missed...the man could play a B-Flat!!!!

Yes, we lost an icon today - more than we probably realize in the moment. Rest in Peace BB. This calls for some Jack I believe....

Heard about this first thing when I awoke this morning, very sad indeed. Truly one of the greatest singer/guitarist's of our time, here's to Blues Boy King.....

I saw him at the Palace in Waterbury, CT It was one of the best shows that I ever saw. This man had more class than any musician that I have ever seen. He will be missed.

B.B. King live at the Apollo was the first album I would sit down with and try to learn how to play blues guitar with. I spent countless hours trying to learn his licks and vibrato. I was fortunate enough to meet him after a show in 1999. What a gracious and wonderful man, I can't say enough good things about him. Having a conversation with B.B King will always be one of the highlights of my life.
