As I type I am just finishing watching an excellent movie. (this is the benefit of having two monitors ;) )

anyways, the Movie is called L4YER CAKE

- Why there is a "4" in "Layercake", I have no clue since it has nothing at all to do with 1337 hacker BS. It is from the producer of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. It is along a similar Vein as these movies and was directed by Matthew Vaughn. To make a long story short and to give no spoilers- Go and watch it. I doubt you will be disappointed. I give it two thumbs up

Those of you from England might have already been well exposed to this movie, but I had not been. I like it alot. It is less over the top than Snatch and the like, but is undeniably a great film. Nuff said, I have been drinking fine bourbon and I am rambling. Go and rent it.

I think so that it looks like a UK car number plate.

Don't know the situation elsewhere but it is very popular for people here to customise their number plate so it looks like their name, job, etc. It is illegal though as it makes it harder for the police to identify the vehicle.

And the rest of the UK :)

Yep, seen it and it is very, very good. Certainly as good as Lock, Stock... and infinitely better than Snatch.

Very good film, It was fun to watch Colm Meaney play a gangster. But, really, would it have killed them to use a little more of Sienna, just a tiny bit. I love Layer cake, LSTSB, and Snatch but I always thought they fell far short on the good looking female quota.

Best recommendation I can think of! We'll rent it tonight. :)

Did anyone here like "The Transporter"?

I saw L4YER CAKE last night. I thought it was a well-made crime drama that wielded a gritty edge. Lots of interesting characters and the acting was superb.

However, I had to turn on the subtitles to understand the British dialect.
