Today I finally ordered my first custom knife and had the pleasure to speak with the company owner on the phone. I ordered a Bushcrafter from Blind Horse Knives while speaking with L.T. It was like speaking with an old friend! We spoke for some time about, knives, kids, outdoor skills and knife making. Needless to say I am thrilled to get my Bushcrafter, which will be in 01 steel :D. I see a long and happy customer in myself, with this company. In todays tight economy, I feel this was money well spent. I will be sure to get some action pics up when it arrives.

LT is a great guy and you will love that Bushcrafter. As a matter of fact, I'll bet that you'll be back for a matching Bushbaby. :D

Cool knife

how does it cut and feel??

Very comfortable in-hand, very nicely finished, comes with an excellent sheath, and cuts VERY well.

Jeff S1, I didn't mean to cut in on your thread, I'm just enthusiastic about BHK products. :D

Wise purchase! Those guys at BHK are top notch folks.

The bushcrafter is a really great value. I didn't know they could do it in O1 though! Interesting. Here's mine....

BHK knives are awesome, L.T. is always a pleasure to buy from.

If anyone can't tell, the tiger maple used for BHK knives comes from a rifle stock maker. The quality of this tiger maple is better than what comes from knives several times the cost.

LT told me that they actually ran through thier lot of saw blade steel faster than expected. They will be going to 01 for a while which is fine with me! I can not wait until it is ready.

I bought one of their $20 saw blade tiger stripe knives and a $10 sheath from them, and was very impressed with the company. The knife came quickly, was well packaged, had a note from them and their business card in the box, and the knife felt good in my hand.

Nice to do business with people who actually care about their customers!

I've just received a BHK Bushcrafter in a trade.I've been nothing short of impressed with it.A superb knife from a company I never heard of till now.I'll be getting more of their stuff in the future for sure.

Check their website often- they usually have a 'monthly special' that offers some cool discounts.
