i sent in a 700 series with broke blade and today a new
USA marked black handled 303 arrived as its replacement
i had had a china slippie i put in my tackle box. (were ever that is now!)
and it was a nice knife..
this one was usa marked so i took a Real close look at it ..

the logo on the scale is slightly diff then the logo on the china buck
the black scales are nice with a sure grip texture
fit to the bolsters is flush !!
with no joint detectable with finger nail run over that union..
over all fit and finish are superb!
all 3 blades are very smooth to deploy with no hint of any grit

the grind on the blades is different then the china ones
the pin blade was the most pointy slippie i have seen!
over all the blades are not quite as sharp as my 110's
that were refreshed there
but they were easily touched up to "sharp" with a steel.

i am very impressed with this slipppie and
jest may keep it as my edc pocket knife !;)

They must be out of blades for the 700 series.
I'm not sure I'd be happy swapping a 703 for a 303. But then it did have a broken blade.

Yup, we are running out of parts for a lot of the older models. Older 300 series, and 700 series especially. :(
I prefer to fix a person's knife, they often are sentimental, but we just dont have the parts anymore.
