Hi Joe, here is the latest knife to arrive from the Bagwell shop in the East Texas Hill country. It was made to order according to my size and build and I am so pleased to report how well it suits me. Bill has produced the best balanced carbon steel and stag Bowie that I have owned to date, not the biggest nor the most powerful but for all around use and portability. The knife is reminiscent of my favorite ease of carry Bowie pictured with it but they differ in proportion and blade mediums. The new knife is faster and turns and maneuvers in hand despite being 5/16" at the hilt. The Damascus Bowie is 3/8" thick but really pours on the power once in motion yet still provides remarkable agility, to my mind. This is done by design, never by accident and is part of the allure of Bill's handiwork. I explained to Bill what I wanted and he has exceeded my expectations again! The hilt of the new Bowie has unusual filework and stippling that has not been found together and the newest stamp has been put on this carbon Bowie for the first time. These knives will not feel the same to everyone who picks them up and handles them because they are fashioned for a specific customer. Thanks for posting Joe and every one for viewing! Best Regards, Bob Furusho
