With the last big batch of D2 blades off to Peters for some hardening magice, I spent a good deal of my shop time today profiling out steel for the next batch of knives, mostly Elmax with a bit of CPM-154 and some CPM 3V thrown in on a couple custom orders;) Thought I might get through everything here on the bench today, but my hands gave out. The pile of dust under the bandsaw was big enough that Bohler offered to buy it back from me to make more powdered steel!!:D

This batch includes many of the knives that were ordered recently and will still have some more added. Just wanted to get the word out to those that have orders placed that progress has begun.

Thanks for looking!

Good looking batch!

Is the one on the far right a new design?

Hey Johnathan, thanks buddy!
It's kind of a new design. There are three different "Ness-Macs" (Named by Dan Fairly) in the D2 batch that's at heat treat right now. This is one of those new designs. I haven't completed one yet, but they've been in the works for a while.

I am very impressed with your work B..
I saw how fast that recent piece featuring jigged bone sold... In this Economy??.... Way to hustle B..
Your handles are extremely "pleasant" looking.. In a postive way, they remind me of the lines Francesco Pachi utilizes on many of his handles..
Five Stars...
Respect..

Those are looking good Jonny! You have created a style that is truly unique and recognizable, great looking knives!

Thanks guys!

Mike, I appreciate you taking the time to comment, brother! I know you're a busy guy:thumbup:

Daniel, that means a lot buddy! It was really important to me to have my own style when I started out. Without a doubt, I have influences in my work, including Mike Snody, Tom Krein, Ken Onion, and others......but I always wanted to make sure I did my own thing so thanks for the comment! Talk to you soon!
