This is an Ever-Ready 200M. Originally sported a boar hair-do, which was old and crusty. Handle was in pretty good condition, but needed a little rework (sanding, removing the seam lines off the lower portion of the handle, and polishing).

The pre-restoration pics. . . .

Off to the spa for a bath and initial haircut. . .

Threw on a bib for a flat-top cut. . .

Then it’s time for surgery.

The original knot was pretty big and elected to open the knot hole to accept a 24mm knot. The Dremel is an excellent tool for expanding and clean-up. . .

Here’s the pre–sanding –polishing pic. . .with the new wig.

I had already painted the “branding,” before sanding began.

Post–sanding and –polishing with new knot installed.

And here it is. . . .after a shampoo and its first lather. The other brush is to provide a visual in the difference between two knot sizes (the black and white brush has a 20mm knot).

Plenty of backbone and very soft. The 24mm knot makes creams and soaps explode!

Nice looking resto. I'm due for a new brush, just don't know if I want to turn my own or not.

This brush was a restore for a friend. He should have it tomorrow.

The look and feel of a 24mm TGN Finest. . . .much nicer than I though it would be. So impressed, I have two, 24mm knots in work for me. :D
