Just got one of these tonight:

http://www.buckknives.com/search.ph...egory_id=260&search_term=288&return_op=search

Metal liners and a lock to keep the blade from opening

Looks like cheap plastic but its actually a good solid knife

A couple swipes on my Sharpmaker and hair poppin sharp now.

Flickin it is kinda fun too:D

PS--it also has a lanyard loop like seen on some of the Bark River products that you can't see well from the pic.

Tip down carry also

Was priced at $39.99---had a $5.00 good customer coupon they sent me in the mail---got it for $35 + tax.

Ya ---still playin with it now while sittin in front of the tube.

I've seen them in the catalog but never handled one. I too would like to hear your comments after you've used it for a while.

I carried one for a while when they first came out. It takes a little practice to open it. It really is a nifty little knife but eventually I retired it so I could get back to my 172 tnt.

OK----after owning this for about a week or so---I've come up with my little list of changes.

This knife works better in my left hand than my right.

1. The locking lever needs to be on the other side---same placement---just on the other side of the blade.

2. The spring needs to be a hair stiffer---the opening is hit and miss---it needs that extra bit of ooommph for more positive opening.

3.Tip up carry would faster and more convenient---move the clip or make provisions for the customer to move it themselves.

4. The back of the blade/lock screams for jimping or gripping cuts---its too slick as it is now.

Make these little changes and a good knife would be a great knife.
