Just when I got over the absence of the 560xlti, there arrives the 560 Crystalline. Whats the story on this one???!!!!It's beautiful!!!!Curious as to why it's slightly heavier though??? But what a looker!!!!!! Please tell all......

Here's the scoop. Is your knife champagne colored or silver/grey? I just found out that the first 500 knives were champagne colored. We get these handles from a supplier that does titanium sintering. THe first batch of 500 came out of the furnace with the nice looking champagne color. It was a total accident but they looked so good, we made them anyways! The supplier can not repeat the accident so the rest will be the silver/grey finish. That finish looks cool in it's own right but will not be as rare as the first 500!
Anyway, the 560 was discontinued a while back because the supplier's plant burned to the ground. We recently found a new supplier so we are bringing the knife back. Hurray!

Good to hear that the 560 Ti folder is back. It's such a great knife!!!! Interesting info on the new handles as well. Although I'm still a little confused.

Are all the new handles going to be grey in color as well as having the crystalline pattern???? By the way the one I got is with the champagne color as that does describe the handle color pretty well and it's beautiful.

We had a meeting with the vendor just yesterday. We were told that the "accident" that created the champagne color will be easier for them to control and regulate then the gray....this means that Joe's earlier post might be incorrect and we will post more information when it is available.

This makes it interesting. The grey ones could end up being the collectable ones! In either case, the crystalline finish will be there.
Hope this helps,
