A post by Codger (on LB7s) got me to thinking about what knives we have.
Has anyone ever tried to make a list of must have knives? Or I might say, a good basic collection to work from such as the LB7, 152, 165 etc.
If you were to start packaging Schrade Collectors Starter Kits, what would you include?
 
If you were giving a pack to a newbie..
I think I would start a kit with a copy of the 1924 catalog reprint from AG and a couple more catalogs through the years.
A copy of the historical time line showing the name changes inter relations with Ulster, Kingston, Camillus etc..
a 8OT and a 165(OT or UH)..
Then tell them to fill in all the missing's
oh I almost forgot: the links to BF AAPK and the collectors-of-schrades web sites
;)
 
Yea, you gotta have an 8OT in there and at least one Schrade auto, and a couple of Schrade Waldens with a corkscrew, and.... and.... and...
