It seems Woody Harrelson is filming a new Zombie movie in Ga. A portion of it will be filmed here in Valdosta. They had a call for extras today to be zombies.
I talked my buddy into going to the casting call. We waited 3 1/2 hours for a 15 second "audition" I walked into the room held up my number (151) and stated my name. The camera guy said OK be A zombie. That was the longest
15 seconds of my life. I have never felt so flocking stupid :D. So stupid we laughed about it most of the way home!! I must have gotten too close to the camera, camera guy told me to back up and do it some more. He said Good, and I left the room. He told my buddy hey you can move around alittle!
My bud is a salsa dance instructor he can really move, but must have froze for the camera. He'll not live this down for awhile!Too bad zombies don't carry knives
Well maybe I'll see ya in the movies.

Hey good luck on that, and let us know if you get the part. I can tell my kids that I know one of the zombies, and if they don't behave I will call him over to the house.:D
 
That's awesome! When I was working as a personal trainer a casting lady for the movie Men of Honor (it was filmed locally) came into the gym looking for "muscular young men that looked like they could dive with 100# of gear on."

She asked me to come over to the "auditions" and I was pretty psyched. But then I found out that even the extras were expected to be on site for at least 10 hours a day... possibly up to 14, and the pay was something like $7 an hour. But you'd be standing around most of the time for days on end, just waiting till they needed you.

I decided to pass on it... but when the movie came out and I saw two guys I knew from the gym standing there in the movie, I really kicked myself in the ass.

I hope it works out for you and we see you as a zombie!!! :D
 
Don't worry Nick, they probably couldn't have fit your biceps in the shot anyway.

Tom, good luck with your zombification, what kind of zombies is it? Fast ones or hold arms out and moan about braiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnsssssss ?
 
aren't there lots of people employed as zombies? They try and sell me stuff over the phone;)
