I couple of weeks ago I bought a CRKT Veile Wasp from another forum...tried carrying it a couple of times but it never felt right in my hand. Had it for sale here but no takers so I took it with me today to my favorite pawn shop and was offered this Bulldog in trade. Being no dummy I accepted immediately of course. So another hound will join my growing pack of Bulldogs...and I love the butter and molasses scales on this equal end jack...the pics don't do them justice, they are very rich and creamy in person.

You sure did get the better part of that trade!

Very nice knife, you made a very wise swap. I love that long match strike pull and the scales. If you ever want to part with it, put me on the list.

I love the wide blades on that--they add lots of character, as does the long match-strike pull on the clip blade.
 
That looks like a nice cattleknife w/clip blade to me, you did good! I have a Veile Wasp but it does fit my hand and is one of my favorites.
 
That pawn shop still has a few more I have been eyeing, and a few more Fight'n Roosters as well...

I've owned one of the Spyderco Vieles, and they are nice, seen the CRKT versions, nice too. However, that Bulldog is a lot nicer!

Absintheur, you want to buy those dogs up and sell em off here,or give them away:D

That Butter/Mollases is a really effective set of scales, like I said TASTY:thumbup:
 
I have a single bull dog moose, and really love the character of the knife. That one is great. I love the art of the trade. Hopefully it was win win....
