.....and customer!

A fellow stopped by my shop today to conduct some biz. He noticed the Izula worn cross draw on my hip.
He was very curious, so I let him handle it a bit. The lad said he always carried a knife, (and had a Benchmade 710 on him), but he was getting interested in fixed blades. He said that the ESEE Izula was the first one that really got him excited.
I brought up the ESEE web site on my computer, and he read through it. Then he whipped out his Blackberry, went to the internet, and ordered an Izula II on the spot.

Good lad, eh? :)

Great products sell themselves. I have 2 Izulas and will have a 4 on the way soon. My parents liked the Izula so I am buying one for them now. My nephew is getting an Izula and a 4. My best friend is getting an Izula for him, his wife, and two daughters and also getting a 4 and 6 for himself. These are just out standing knives!

I have a Rat-5, Rat-4, and an Izula with micarta handles. Had a Rat-3 but it is now resting at the bottom of the St. Lawerence river. Love the quality and lifetime warranty.

I had a similar situation occur over the weekend. I was clearing some small scrub oaks (less than an inch in diameter) from behind my tool building when my neighbor walked over. We had'nt talked five minutes before he asked me what kind of machete I was using, so I handed him my ESEE Light and let him handle (fondle!;)) it for a few minutes after which he asked about where I got it. I won't be too surprised to see him using one of his own in the next few days!

With ESEE products it seems that by giving them away or holding them, more are sold. They sell themselves!

Truly great products don't need to be sold. Just let someone handle it, I mean get it in their hands, and it will sell itself. Most customers, once they have something in their paws, either they like it and will have one, or they don't like something about it, and may get one. Some will not like it, and never get one.

Greatest sales technique ever, let good quality and great designs sell themselves.

I received my Izula II last week and have spend as much time as I can around the house finding excuses to use it. It is truly a great little fixed blade. My cousin saw it and handled it for a bit and now is trying to make excuses to buy an ESEE. Yes, the products are great and sell them selves. :)
