My buddie who is a hunter but not a knife person and EDC's a SOG Trident(that I sharpen for him!) gave me a really cool idea when I asked him what would his ideal blade be. He said a folding knife that has a saw on one side and a zipper to field dress with and a can opener too for beer!!! I told him he is nuts and to carry a small folding saw and get a folder with a zipper I found from buck or Ginsu that has a VG-1 core. http://www.ginsuoutdoors.com/FoldingGutHook.html
I thought about this a long time and really think thought about a lot of knife makers on this one....Who could build such a beast? What should it be made out of...D2 for toughness or an easier to sharpen steel like CPM 154?

Is the general non knife liking public really innovative or just want 2-3 tools in one?
