A new Friction Folder

Recently finished this one. The blade and backspacer are Brad Vice Damascus. The handle is Mexican Bocote and the bolsters are Water Buffalo horn.I also use a bronze bushing for the pivot. The sheath is laced and inlayed with Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake. Hope you like it. Dave:)

I think both the knife and the sheath look great. For some reason I looked at the knife and got the impression of a hummingbird.
 
that's really nice. I think the handle would be very comfortable. I like how the tang is flush with the handle when extended.

Nice sheath also.

:thumbup:on the dovetailed bolsters. You don't see too much of that these days.
And that sheath is beautiful.
 
Dave, those friction folders of your just keep getting better and better. I still have that little Turq and bone number that Mike gave me through you.
