Thought I'd post this here and you may find my post in my forum here interesting also. Thanks and since I don't want to be accused of linking to a sale even though its not for sale yet I'll just have to say I have a new GEC coming out being made by Tidiqute Cutlery.

four to six weeks away is what they are telling me. Of course I'm hoping for sooner. I've modified Camilllus 27 models similar to this for years and always found them to be very useful. Never once did I ever find use for the stripper but you know we did consider a bottle opener. We, well I was afraid too many guys would snap the blade right there at the thin area for that opener so we didn't do it. Mostly the size of the blade negates making much more out of it. Anyway, its an idea I've had since I was a teen. I always wanted it. Talked to some about it that could maybe make me one but never got it. Now its real or close anyway providing I live long enough to see it to fruition and I'm hoping the vision is what we have in the end. I'll be disappointed if its a let down but you know life is about learning and growing right? Well, I've done a lot of that since joining here and thanks to the embracing this forum has given my clips its kind of ironic and beautiful in a way that the pocket clip indirectly paid for a new traditional folder to show up for collectors of traditional folders not normally associated with pocket clips. How is that for a twist of fate!?
