This is a Triple Aught Design edition of the RMJ Jenny Wren. This thing is really light in the hand and very compact. The grip is amazing and very solid. It has been changed up a bit from the regular Jenny Wren.

From TAD's site:

To make it more applicable in the field, we refined the edges on the beard of the TAD edition to allow for more precise woodwork and camping related tasks.
A reduced beard length enhances your ability to perform fine cutting tasks like food prep.
A byproduct of the reduced beard is increased security on the off-chance your hand slips up the handle it won’t cut you.
An incredibly tough, high impact S7 steel that’s rust resistant and designed to take the toughest punishment.
A hammer poll that can be used for staking your tent.
Hollow pins have been placed throughout the handle to create different anchor points for lanyards and reduce overall weight.
A pronounced pinky catch for enhanced grip security and safety.
The solid steel tang construction enhances strength with some extra weight for hammering while still being light and maneuverable in a compact package.

Dimensions

* Main Blade: 2.64” (6.71 cm)
* Top Swedge: 2.72” (6.82 cm)
* Beard: 1.32” (3.40 cm)
* Stock Width: .251” (.64 cm)

On to some quick and dirty pictures.

looks like they made it a full tang version? if so, very cool. the RMJ Jenny Wren is cool, but I'm not a fan of G10 pinned to steel, similar to American Kami's designs. on a pocket knife is one thing, on a tool designed for impact, I prefer a solid core.

RMJ is actually in the process of redesigning the Jenny Wren. Apparently people (read marines) have been using the Jenny as a breaching tool and that didn't sit well with RMJ. The new Jenny should be available soon.

sweet...if you decide to part ways with yours, keep me in mind

Those look like the perfect backpacking girlfriend, short, black, good handle to hold on to, although I'd prefer 5160 for better edge retention, just my preference.

I see you have two of these Jay Goliath would you be interested in selling one. Please. Thanks! Rick Let me know or anyone that wishes to sell trade for a TAD tomahawk

I think the Jenny Wren is one of the neatest tomahawks on the market today....would love to pick one up at some point. I know it's gone through different stages of evolution over the past few years and maybe I'm out of the loop but wasn't the Storm Crow supposed to be the newest transition of the latest Jenny Wren??.......and isn't the Storm Crow now defunct due to the RMJ/CRKT "Kangee" tomahawk??.........Which is absolutely identical (down to every single grind) to the RMJ Storm Crow except it uses SK5 steel as opposed to RMJ's 4140 chrome molly. Any input? I guess I'm a little confused.

Either way......awesome tomahawks.

Sorry if I derailed the thread with the Storm Crow/"Kangee" question but I was under the impression that they were the next stage of the Jenny Wren's evolution (so I suppose the question was still on topic somewhat). At any rate, for what its worth......I talked to RMJ today and the Storm Crow is indeed the Kangee. They sold the design to CRKT and the Jenny Wren is an entity all to its own self.

Maybe I'm just real late to all this but in case anyone was wondering how that's how it worked out.

I know this thread is old, but thats some good info. I have been wondering about that, and couldnt find anything on it. Thanks.
