No, I still have not made the time to rebuild my 50# Little Giant. I will. I love the hammer and the story behind it. I now have the money to do it, just haven't had the time.

My friend and fellow knifemaker, Mike Dagley, sent me a link to craigslist about another Little Giant for sale. Ironically enough, the seller used to be my dad's boss's boss. Yea, he was up the food-chain a bit.

I thought he was a hobby blacksmith, but it turns out he is a VERY talented blacksmith that could easily be full-time if he weren't dedicated to his job with Land-O-Lakes to keep buying tools and keep his wife and two daughters healthy (smart guy!)

Anway, he has a 100# Little Giant that runs BEAUTIFULLY!!! It was brought out to the west coast for the WPA project... which I know a little about because it also involves the CCC (civilian conservation corps) that built the Washington State Park (in 1935) that I worked at for 4 summers.

I have to wait a bit before I can bring this baby home, but I can plug and play when I do. It works awesome and I can't wait!

I'll get pics up asap! :D

Sorry, I just had to brag a bit ;) :D

Ain't it great to have a real job, Nick?:D
