hello my fellow knife enthusiasts!


i remember when i was a kid everywhere we went my parents always had to stop by at any knife/firearm store for me to check out what they had on display - so i had this idea that when i would finally have my own knife collection i would like a wall mounted display case - kind of like a shopping window only featuring knives to my taste

since we share the same taste in high quality knives i figured you ladies and gentlemen would appreciate :thumbup: :D... so after many hours of planning, testing and prototyping i finally pesent my first high end custom knife display:


some specs:

massive wood panel construction (aluminium/stainless steel in progress - along with setup in horizontal "flat-tv-like" format)
one-piece glass front door - lockable
high performance led lighing system (shown at 4000-4500k / 3400lm - i know it is almost too bright - remote control dimmer in progress)
highly variable knife attachment system
lots of options improvements to come














please let me know what you think! - i would appreciate your thoughts and criticism

Umm duh..... You need more knives and bigger display case. LoL 😂 pretty sweet setup man!!!!
 
I'd love to have a setup like yours but I'll probably opt for the lazy solution and go for the Benchcrafted Mag-Bloks. Go figure I'd take the lazy option! But man yours sure does look good!
 
That is really very cool! You did a fantastic job! Now..what is the next knife to be displayed?
 
Wow- I just keep mine in my pocket. There's a flashlight in there but for some reason "displaying" is frowned upon. ;)
 
That is an awesome display. You may have to start making these for people. :thumbup:
 
What are the outside dimensions?

I've been using something similar for several years. It's not lit and it uses the glass over thick foam to hold the knives in place.
The one below is 36" X 18" X 2.25" (sorry...no Busse content:o)

thanks! i only put in knives worthy for pics :D - that said i really do need more knives :D

thanks! i had to google mag-bloks though - doesnt look to bad - i like the fact that with my setup the knives dont come into contact with the magnets

thank you! i like your display solutions - your thread about display dilemma was encouraging!

the outside dimensions are 1000x700x150mm - or 39,4 x 27,6 x 5,9 inches :D
